Forgot your password? You can reset it in about a minute. The steps are the same on Android and iPhone.
If you're logged out
- Open Profile and tap Log In.
- Tap Forgot your password?
- Enter your email address.
- We'll email you a link to update your password. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.
If you're already logged in
If you remember your current password and just want a new one:
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Account Settings.
- Tap Change Password and follow the steps.
Change Password asks for your current password first. If you don't remember it, log out and follow the steps above instead. We'll email you a reset link, and you can log back in with your new password.
If the reset says "User not found"
Use the same email address that you created your Bend account with. If you still get "User not found," it usually means there's no Bend account on that email yet. You can create one from the Profile tab by tapping Create Account, and your subscription will sync to it.
If the reset email never arrives
Reset emails usually land within a few minutes. If yours doesn't:
- Check your spam and junk folders. Search your inbox for "Bend" too.
- Work and school email addresses often block automated emails before they reach you. If you signed up with one, ask your IT team to allow emails from Bend.
- Some email providers deliver slowly. Give it up to an hour before requesting a new email.
- If you request several reset emails in a row, our system pauses new ones for a short time. Wait 15 minutes, then request one more.
If the link says "expired or has already been used"
Reset links work once and expire one hour after we send them. Two things commonly break them:
- You requested more than one email. Each new request cancels the older links. Only the link in the most recent email works, so delete the others.
- Security software opened the link for you. Some email providers and antivirus apps scan links by opening them, which uses up the link before you tap it. Outlook and many work accounts do this.
To get around this, request one new email and open the newest link as soon as it arrives. If it still fails, pause your antivirus or email security app for a minute, request one more email, and try again.
